The other award that the Yamaha Wolverine X4 walked away with is the “Adventure UTV of the Year.” The backing behind this is credited to the engine featured on the Yamaha Wolverine X4. As Yamaha’s first Twin Cylinder engine in the UTV line, this 847cc eight-valve, parallel twin-cylinder motor features the full range of Yamaha’s advanced performance technologies. To improve efficiency, the engine features a dry-sump design for a more compact layout and offset cylinder block to reduce friction loss, while rubber engine mounts and a geared counter-balancer ensures smooth running from idle to redline.
